A bit of my "why"
I spent days writing novels, falling in love with the way words could hold endless possibilities. Then I started designing book covers, and a whole new world opened up to me. I realized storytelling wasn’t limited to words—it could live in images, colors, typography, space, and so much more.
My interest in media and design deepened during COVID. Suddenly I saw design everywhere, quietly shaping everyone’s everyday life. Later, stepping outside my comfort zone through travel widened my perspective even further, feeding new ideas I didn’t know I was looking for.
When I began my bachelor’s in graphic design, a pattern emerged. I loved exploring design across every medium and format, but the projects that stayed with me were the concrete ones, the ones that touched real lives and gave people a voice. Giving shape to the stories of Marino’s residents moved me deeply. Rebuilding the brand identity for an NPO running camps for sick children, giving their cause visibility, and their message a feeling of magic and freedom, is something I’ll never forget.
That’s when I knew what I wanted to do, and why Studio MV is born.
I want to make a good impact on the world.
Design by design,
Bit by bit,
Using my skills to make things a little better, at my level.
Volunteering as a graphic designer for Children In Hospital Dublin is exactly that.
Why not let your project be the next?
