I have been in contact with the community

  • Needs: Celebrate and honor members and volunteers of Marino-Fairview, reconnect isolated older residents, educate wider community on local history through lived experience.
  • Solution proposed : A book in three main parts, with a accent on community thourgh storytelling. First part : a shared neighbourhood with shared memories (showing the commun things that makes them a community). Second Part : The community in crisis times (accent on the support network during war and COVID). Third part : bound by solidarity (encouraging people to join and participate.)
